Binder Check Dress Down Day
Students who have earned between 350-400 binder check points for the month of October will be permitted to be out of uniform Monday, November 5th. As usual, students who are out of uniform must still adhere to CCSD/HMS guidelines. The vast majority of our students are doing a wonderful job of staying organized - please continue to support your child by ensuring that they have the materials they need to be successful! If you are in need of supplies, please contact your child's homeroom teacher.
No School Tuesday
Just a reminder that schools are closed for students this Tuesday, November 6th (Election Day). Go vote if you haven't yet!
HMS Orchestra Fall Concert
Wednesday November 14th at 6:30pm
This year our concerts will be held in the Fine Arts Auditorium at Cedar Shoals High School. Students should report at 6:00pm to tune. Please contact Ms. Floyd (floydr@clarke.k12.ga.us) for more details.
Panther Nation News Blog
Be sure to check Ms. Tolbert's Panther Nation News Blog, as it contains news, announcements, and information for the entire school!
Progress Reports
Progress reports will be distributed on November 13th. This will be the 4.5 week notice of how your child is progressing through their classes. Please follow up with your students' teacher if you have any questions about grades. Please check Infinite Campus (campus.clarke.k12.ga.us) often, as grades are updated frequently!
Expectations
Please remind students of expectations here at Hilsman. There has been some rough-housing and horse playing that we would like to prevent at all costs so that the students are staying in class. Please remind your students of coming to class on time and prepared, being focused in class and keeping their hands and feet to themselves!
